Joomla Modules

The Joomla community is buzzing all over the world and new web sites are popping up everywhere as more people are finding out what a great web site management system it truly is. All modules allow the addition of parameters so that you can change one aspect of the design without having to go deep into the code of the page. By changing how a certain parameter is defined you can access some things easily without having to have a complex interface. As well as editing you can also create your very own Joomla modules.

You can not create a Joomla module from scratch from within the Joomla administrator. Instead you will have to make the files first and then install them into the system as modules. You must have a definition statement as the first line of the module code, and it is probably a good idea if you take the time to learn what all of the different tags mean. When you have made your module you must install it into your modules from the menu, and then publish it so that you can witness your creation. It is quite easy initially to create Joomla modules, but you can get more deeply into areas of presentation and develop your ideas further as you go along.
